British Landscape Drawing Color Pencil is a semi-abstract landscape and an original composition drawing. 

• There's something so satisfying about blending different shades to create a realistic and detailed scene. I have drawn the abstract landscape on a Stonehenge vellum finish, 250 gsm sheet of paper, in the size of 29 x 22 x 0.1 cm (this is the exact dimension of the drawing itself).
• The drawing is mounted (US: matted) in a 40 x 30 cm mat.
• The artwork is matted (mounted) but unframed.
• Materials used: Stonehenge sheet of paper, professional-grade coloured pencils "Polychromos" by Faber-Castell, varnish for drawings by Winsor & Newton

I have taken every precaution to ensure the artwork's longevity by applying multiple layers of Winsor and Newton's specialist fixative for coloured pencils. 

I have used vivid and intense colours in this work. You'll find a beautiful mix of azurite, lapis lazuli, cobalt, and sky blue. The meadows in front of the castle are bright green; I have mixed avocado green with fern, mantis, and shamrock greens. The medieval building is striking in colours: yellows mixed with reds and atomic tangerines. To make it more delicious, I have added some pumpkin and persimmon, too :-)
