I spent several days walking along Embleton Beach, enjoying the peaceful beauty of the coastline. The waves were gentle, and the salty breeze filled my lungs as I let my thoughts wander. During one of these walks, I saw something that really caught my attention. I felt compelled to capture it on canvas.

I saw a person wading into the shallow waters, completely focused on the sandy ocean floor. They seemed to be on a mission, with a quiet determination in their posture. The rhythmic waves provided a backdrop to their solitary pursuit.

Back in my studio, the vivid memory guided my hand as I painted "Embleton Beach 4—Shell Hunter." With each brushstroke, I aimed to convey the tranquility and purpose that drew me to that scene by the sea.
