The Eagle, Bird of Prey, a drawing of an eagle head, is a unique piece of art drawn by hand on a single sheet of art paper.

This magnificent bird and I once met in a Northumberland Bird Sanctuary. It was quite the eclectic mix for a Northumberland bird sanctuary, but I fell in love with all the birds there, especially the eagle, a large owl, and a tiny tawny owl, pelicans (yep, pelicans:-), they had two comical pelicans!, and a wallaby that was hopping on the grassy hills nearby.

I feel bad for the eagle, just standing there, being stared at by tourists. Those birds may as well be imprisoned. Some birds have great flight exercises, but I haven't seen this one in the air. I'm crossing my fingers that he gets some flying time as well.

Drawing materials include high-quality, artist-grade paper, Faber-Castell's "Polychromos" coloured pencils, and coats of varnish specifically designed for use with drawings.
