Miniature Landscape of Central Valley

The painting depicts a breathtaking view of the Central Valley and Volcano Poas, as seen from Finca Huetares. I have stayed in this place for a year and have been mesmerized by the panoramic view of the valley, the city of San Jose, and the three massive volcanoes that encircle the area. Though from the distance, the volcanoes appear to be small hills on the horizon.

As mentioned above, this is a view from Finca Huetares; it is situated close to Los Angeles near Atenas above the Central Valley in Costa Rica. From a secluded road atop the Finca, take in the most incredible views.  From here, you can see the entire Central Valley, including San Jose, the capital city of Costa Rica. A great view, especially at night, with all the lights below and the stars above.

My painting, however, shows an excellent level of detail and skill; still, it shows only a tiny fragment of the whole vista.

Materials: illustration board, premium acrylic paints and varnish, mounting mat, a lovely wooden frame, and no glass in front (a few coats of varnish eliminate the need for glass).
