"Nature is All Around Us" shows Costa Rica's Central Valley in bright detail. A reddish road winds up through green hills, drawing you in. Farther away, a sunlit meadow with bushes and trees sits quietly under the soft shadow of a cloud.
I created this piece using Derwent Inktense pencils on acid-free Arches paper. There is a white margin around the painting (see third and fourth images). The last image shows work in progress - I was almost halfway through the painting.
The painting needs to be mounted and framed; it is currently unframed for sale.
Size: 41 x 31 cm (16 x 12 in.) including white margin
