River Aire, West Yorkshire, original acrylic painting

I recently created an acrylic painting on Arches heavyweight paper, measuring 41 x 31 cm, with the painted image itself a bit smaller at 40 x 30 cm due to a white margin surrounding it. The artwork is designed to be easily mounted in a mat and framed, and it doesn't require any glass in front of it.

In this piece, I depicted a serene green hill topped with charming houses alongside a few more residences nestled below the hill, yet still elevated above the gentle flow of the River Aire. The sky overhead is a vibrant blue, reflecting in the river below, where lush bushes and trees anchor the scene along its banks. The painting is predominantly adorned with calming blue and green hues, complemented by cheerful dots of yellow that represent the houses, bringing a sense of warmth and liveliness to the landscape.

The artwork is not framed.
