Embleton Beach 7, Northumberland

• The painting is not framed. The images showing the work on a wall and in a frame are for demonstration purposes only.
• I painted on a small canvas that is not stretched on wooden bars. It can be framed like works on paper, but it doesn't need to be framed behind glass.

I created this en plein air, which means outdoors. The painting is titled "Sketch of Embleton Beach 7," it is the seventh in my series of artworks of this Northumberland beach. 

This piece depicts a beautiful scene with a blue sky, a stony part of the beach, and wild sea waves. The beach is shaped like a semicircle, and the overall atmosphere is natural beauty and tranquillity amidst the crashing waves.
