Summer Landscape - Yellow Fields is an original painting, a panoramic vista in yellow.
It was a hot summer day, and Harvey, the pet, Peter, the husband, and I decided to drive out of town to clear our minds. While driving, we stumbled upon a beautiful countryside landscape I had never seen before. The fields were vast and yellow, stretching as far as the eye could see. The sun was shining bright, and the sky was a deep shade of blue. I knew then and there that I wanted to capture this breathtaking view on canvas.
We pulled the car over to the side of the road and took a closer look. I studied the landscape from every angle, taking in the colours, the textures, and the light. I knew exactly how I wanted to paint it - with loose brushstrokes and an impressionistic style that would capture the essence of the scene.
I set up my easel and sketched the landscape. Then I photographed it, too, for reference. The sun was beating down on me that I hardly noticed because I was so focused on my work.
Later at home, the yellow fields came to life on my canvas as I mixed colours and layered brushstrokes to create depth and texture.
Hours and days passed, and I worked tirelessly until the painting was complete. I stepped back to check my work and was delighted with this creation. Summer Landscape - Yellow Fields is an original painting, a panoramic vista in yellow that captures the beauty of the countryside on that hot summer day.
I'm excited to share this amazing painting with you. It's truly one-of-a-kind, and I know it will bring you joy and delight when you see it.
