As a child, I always loved visiting my grandmother's house. There was something magical about it - the smell of freshly baked cookies, birds chirping in the garden, and the warmth of grandmother's embrace. But my favourite part of the house was always the painting on the living room wall. It was a reproduction of Van Gogh's painting of sunflowers.

I would spend hours staring at the painting, mesmerized by it. I would imagine myself in the picture, feeling the intense colours full of sun and vitality. It was my happy place, where I could escape from the world's stresses and just be.

Years went by, and I grew up. I moved away from the town where my grandmother lived. But no matter where I went, I always carried the memory of the painting with me. It reminded me of the love and warmth of my grandmother and the joy I felt every time I was in her house.

One day, I received a call from my mother. My grandmother had passed away. My heart sank as I thought of all the memories that would be lost.

To remember her, I painted the Sunflowers In Wind.

My grandmother's old painting differs significantly from this piece as my artwork is much smaller and shows sunflowers on a dark green background. But, when I see my sunflowers, I feel a sense of peace and comfort, knowing that my grandmother's love and warmth will always be with me, just like the sunflowers, no matter in which form.

The painting is mentioned in a blog.
