Sunset Landscape Close to Bellingham is an original acrylic painting on Belgian linen canvas.
As the sun began to go down over the rolling hills of Bellingham, Northumberland, I grabbed my trusty companion, a beautiful Border Collie named Max. We set out to explore the breathtaking scenery that surrounded us. I had my sketchbook, paintbrushes, and paints with me, ready to capture the stunning landscape that lay before us.
We walked through the hills; Max bounded ahead, his tail wagging excitedly as he explored every nook and cranny of the countryside. I followed close behind, taking in the beauty of the hills while searching for the perfect spot to set up the easel.
Finally, we found a peaceful clearing overlooking the valley below, with a perfect view of the rolling hills and fields surrounding us. I set to work, capturing the beauty of the landscape with my brushes and paints while Max lay contentedly at my feet, occasionally lifting his head to take in the sights and sounds of the countryside.
As the evening wore on, I lost myself in the peacefulness of the moment. The only sounds around us were the soft rustle of the leaves and the distant call of birds. When I finally stepped back from the sketchbook, I was amazed by the possibility of the future painting. There definitely was the opportunity to create a stunningly beautiful landscape that will truly capture the essence of the hills of Bellingham.
I packed up my supplies and set off back down the hill, and knew that I would never forget this day - the day I decided to paint the landscape of Bellingham. My faithful companion, Max, was by my side. It was his last holiday. This is also why I will always remember the Sunset Landscape Close to Bellingham.
I painted using high-quality acrylics on a linen canvas that had first been primed, and I varnished it three times to preserve it from environmental hazards like pollution and sunlight. The canvas has been expertly stretched, and the painting can be hung directly from the stretcher bars with a sawtooth bracket or, if you want, it can be framed.
I painted the sides of the scene, which measures 61 x 46 x 1.9 cm, with the same hues used in the artwork.
The artwork is ready to hang.
The second image only shows how the painting may look in a frame and on a wall.
