Sweadale's Wildflowers Meadow Painting is an original acrylic artwork on fine art paper.
The floral meadows in Swaledale were breathtaking as I strolled across them. The blooms were unlike anything I'd ever seen regarding colour palette and texture. I felt compelled to paint this spectacular scene.
I sat for hours in the fields, observing how the wind rustled the grasses and the sunlight glistened off the petals. The more paint I added, the more lifelike the scene became. As I finished my masterpiece, I felt at ease and complete.
This beautifully painted artwork features meadows in a bold golden-green colour palette, and it will evoke memories of a morning walk in summer. In addition, the painting is covered in an attractive glow that could illuminate any space in your home.
I created the painting with iridescent and interference paints, and it changes a little, in an enchanting way, as the light source shifts.
I have painted on Hahnemuele acid-free, archival-quality hefty paper, artist-quality acrylic paints, and a varnish finish to preserve it all.
