The story behind the drawing Tree Growing on a Rock is one of perseverance and determination. I was inspired by a real-life tree that I saw growing out of a crack in a large boulder. Despite the odds against it, the tree had managed to take root in the rock and thrive.
Seeing this tree moved me, so I decided to recreate it in my art and spent hours studying the tree and the rock, trying to capture the essence of their relationship in my drawing. I wanted to show the world that life can still find a way, even in the harshest environments of the Scottish Highlands.
The drawing became known for its message of hope and resilience. It reminds people that no matter what obstacles they face in life, they have the ability to overcome them. The tree growing on a rock symbolises strength and perseverance, inspiring viewers to keep fighting for their dreams.
The drawing Tree Growing On a Rock is a powerful reminder of nature's resilience and the strength of the human spirit.
